Outside the Box

This exciting new social enterprise (strapline 'More than a Cafe' ) in Wharfedale, opened for a one-day preview of the building on Saturday. Still a shell, the three main rooms were decorated, draped, painted on by masses of people (great installation by Paul Slater / Beam), explored, and generally celebrated. Mulled wine, mince pies, cartoons, carols, fun. 250 people signed up to support this venture which will help adults with learning disabilities either find work, or gain social experiences, Much more to say. We made a short launch film - go to outsidetheboxcafe.com for more.

Elsewhere ..The week before Trading Pictures had been on a drama shoot for Network Productions (we provided director, and production manager) in surprisingly sunny Hull. Cold, but bright. A dramatised TV investigation into a corporate manslaughter case. Great cast of actors, all worked together brilliantly. Post-production is underway on that (Producer / Editor Andy Dunderdale).

The radio programme we made with Save the Children in East Africa last month is now being edited. Production meeting in London before Christmas..

Busy.
